Texas Business for Clean Air (TBCA) is a group of prominent business leaders across the state committed to matters that affect air quality in Texas. Founded by David Litman, Consumer Club CEO, Garrett Boone, Co-Chairman and one of the founders of the Container Store, and Trammell S. Crow, real estate developer, we are aware that the economic vitality of our own businesses depends on the utility industry’s ability to foster technologies that promote efficiency and minimize harmful emissions. There is no conflict between clean air and business interests, but instead a natural long-term alliance for the health and economic benefits that clean air will bring to Texas.

The most important clean air issues facing the state are the construction of old technology, coal-fired plants around Texas and promoting efficiency in our use of electricity.
