We commend Senator Fraser, Representative King and others for their hard work to resolve the environmental and pricing problems of power generation and to ensure a competitive deregulated market for all of Texas.

Texas Business for Clean Air (TBCA) wants Texas businesses to grow and prosper with the benefit of clean air. We hope that Texas-based utilities will become more environmentally responsible and offer the benefits of true free market competition to Texas residences and businesses.

We will continue to work with all of the members of the legislature process, as well as the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Public Utility Commission of Texas, to see a successful resolution to these issues.
